NT Services is a product of Backbone Software, a small Norwegian company based in Oslo. The goal was to have an easy access tool to information about a range of servers in an LAN, from anywhere. NT Services has been created with web interfaces working for most graphical browsers (Win/*nix/Mac), PocketPC powered PDA? s, and any device that can use the Opera Software SSR browser. An example of usage could be; if you needed to read the event log of one or more servers/workstations on your LAN the enterprise version would allow you access to them all from one of it? s interfaces, or if you need to disable, stop or restart a windows service on servers or workstations, you could do that from the NT Services web interface. Using NT Services you? ll also get much more information about an IIS server configuration than using any default tools.
