A program for secure file deletion which destroys (or purges, by overwriting) data in files on floppy, ZIP or hard disk so that the data can not be recovered, a process also known as' sanitization'. A single file can be purged or, in batch mode, multiple files (in multiple folders) can be purged in one operation. Allows user-specifiable type of purge (type of overwrite and number of times). Program can also purge unused clusters or all data on a disk. The purge speed on a particular drive can be tested so as to allow an accurate estimate of the time required for a particular purge operation.
